Planning can help make you feel in control and you will need to be organised with appointments and treatment times and taking any medication. Start a diary for your treatment plan to take care of this. We’ve popped a notebook in Kit to help with notes.
But you will also need to be flexible and take each day as it comes. Give yourself a pat on the back if you do achieve a task (big or small) for the day. Don’t try to take in too much information, so you feel overwhelmed, only what is necessary and helpful at the time.
