Treatment and medications you are required to take for your cancer can have a huge impact on your skin.

Changes such as dry skin and irritation can lead to openings in the skin where germs can enter and infection set in.

It’s important to bathe regularly but avoid soaking in spas or hot tubs.  If you are too ill to bathe sponge bath with a wet cloth or sponge. Use warm water and we have included a goat soap in Kit. Be sure to clean your feet, groin, underarms, and other sweaty areas well.

Your skin can be sensitive from treatment so use your hand made soft cotton wash cloth from your Kit and do not rub skin with a towel — pat it dry instead. NEVER share face and bath towels, it’s unsanitary and can expose you to various germs and potential diseases or health conditions.
