Feeling tired and lacking energy (fatigue) is the most common and often the most debilitating side effect of chemotherapy.

Cancer fatigue is different from everyday tiredness and can happen suddenly. Everything can seem overwhelming, an effort, very frustrating and affect your moods.  Your work and social life, relationships and general day-to-day living become difficult. Resting does not always help. It is a good idea to set small, manageable goals and plan your day to include rest times.

We have included in Kit a journal to keep a record of your energy levels to see if part of the day is better than others. You will then know when is the best time to go out or get a few jobs done around the house.
