Exercise laughter

Too tired to exercise? Cancer fatigue set in? Try laughter!

Laughing is much more than just an emotional response to something funny, it can actually be a form of exercise too.  It’s physical. Laughing exercises several muscles in the body, including your diaphragm, abdomen, back, shoulders, and 15 facial muscles.

Laughing instantly reduces the levels of stress hormones such as cortisol, epinephrine (adrenaline) and dopamine, and increases the production of serotonin and endorphins which reduce effects of stress. …

Laughter also works as an effective distraction from things that cause anxiety and anger. Reduce blood pressure.
