One can be more positive during the day but anxiety and fear often sets in when you cannot sleep at night.
For Shelli it was like having a 3am alarm go off. To overcome this night time anxiety Shelli would use this time to write down her thoughts, feelings and collect quotes. She developed a love for bullet journalling and had many projects on the go.
Your journal doesn’t have to be for writing only – you can include sticker accessories, postcards and embellishments – include anything you like. Shelli’s neuropathy in her fingers/hands limited her creative calligraphy style skills so she developed an obsession with decoration and washi tape.
