Christmas and New Year’s celebrations are over so time to get back on track with eating.
Good nutrition is important. Eating well can improve your overall health, reduce fatigue, and help you have more energy. Deciding what to eat and shopping for groceries can take time and energy and you don’t feel like thinking about food anyway. With treatment food can taste YUK and nausea or dry mouth can make eating well even more difficult.
Try to work out what you can eat on the “good days” and plan what things to buy. Having them in stock can make preparation so much easier. Stock up on healthy frozen or prepackaged meals for times you don’t feel like cooking. It’s important for a person with cancer to eat nutritious foods.
