Never share anything in a jar

When using products in a jar wash your hands first.  It is best to use a Q-tip or popsicle stick and avoid double dipping. Sharing a jar is a no-no.

Every time anyone dips their fingers in, new germs contaminate the entire jar so they go onto the skin or face of whoever uses the product next. This can spread bacteria like streptococcus or staphylococcus (which some people carry harmlessly on their skin) and can cause folliculitis (inflammation of the hair follicle) and acne.
