Think twice before using your friend or family member’s towel.

Sharing towels can spread germs, especially wet ones. Towel sharing of any kind is a big no-no even if you think you are clean from just stepping out of the shower. Change your towels often, hang them to dry in an open space. A  towel has the ability to retain moisture bacteria such as a staph infection that can live on for few hours, days, or even months.  Never share towels with anyone — not even family members.

Be wary of which towel is yours when travelling, make sure to remember which towel belongs to you.
