Some days you can be too sick to want to talk with others but when you are up to it, it’s important to share your true feelings.
Don’t set up a false front or “happy face” trying to protect your loved ones by acting cheerful all the time. It will help you and them more if you share your true feelings, especially to your carer.
This was some advice Shelli did not take. Too often her true feelings and pain were masked by a “happy face.”
