Disinfecting

Be aware of those days after chemotherapy when your immune system is down. It’s hard when you are not feeling well keeping up with your household chores.

It’s important to rest if you are tired or not feeling well.

Lowering your chance of picking up germs is a priority especially if you have others living in the same household.

Disinfectants, such as sprays and wipes should be used to kill germs on areas such as:

  • Kitchen counter tops and floors, especially before and after food preparation
  • Refrigerator door handles
  • Telephones
  • Door knobs and handles
  • The bathroom including counter tops and floors
