Try to do things that make you happy. Sometimes it not easy to laugh when it comes to coping with cancer.
But laughing packs a punch and the joy you get from laughing with friends or playing with your dog may give you a boost.
Laughter helps increase heart rate, respiration, and it gets the blood pumping as the upper body muscles are recruited into the action. A good laugh causes the brain to release stress relieving endorphins which increases people’s ability to cope with stressful situations.
So laugh it up it can go a long way toward making you feel a bit better.
