If your temperature goes over 38 °C you need to get to the hospital. It’s important know the signs and symptoms of infection. Having a fever means your body temperature is higher than normal. Something inside your body, such as an infection, has caused your temperature to rise. Some cancers, drugs and other treatment can also cause fever.
Check your temperature every day and remember to keep a record to note any changes. We have popped a thermometer and a journal in the KIT.
Don’t wait until you are extremely ill. Seek urgent medical attention if it rises to 38 °C or above.
