Winning and losing treatments are in the mouth. If you can eat and drink, you can fuel your body and stay in good condition. Your mouth might get sore during radiotherapy treatment to your head or neck 0r it might happen during a course of cancer drugs. Prevention is better than trying to treat mouth problems before they take hold.

It’s important to keep your mouth clean and moist. This might not keep mouth problems away altogether but it will help in reducing an infection on top of mouth ulcers or a sore mouth.

When in treatment you should wash your mouth out four times a day and brush your teeth after every meal with a soft toothbrush because your gums get very sensitive. This will help combat mouth ulcers, thrush and sores.

We have included Oral 7 toothpaste and mouthwash and a soft toothbrush to help combat mouth problems.

Looking after your mouth is a not negotiable!

Inform your medical team immediately if your mouth or gums are really sore. You may require further medications.
