Make time each day for relaxation and enjoyment. Don’t stop doing the things you like to do just because you have cancer. Find small things in life to look forward to each day. You may like hobbies such, gardening, photography, reading, knitting or crocheting, scrapbooking, woodwork or crafts. Maybe you like creative outlets such as art, music, yoga or dance.
To build a sense of hope, set goals to look for each day and dates and events to look forward to. Don’t limit yourself. Plan something to get your mind off the cancer.
