Cuddle up with a blanket and pillow

Bring a blanket throw to chemotherapy treatment. Cancer patients often say they get cold during treatment so it helps to cuddle up with a blanket throw. Fleece ones are very warm, lightweight and easily laundered. If you don’t have a blanket and you are cold ask you one. Don’t suffer.

A pillow will come in handy especially if you want to sleep during your treatment as it can take anywhere from a few minutes to a few hours. A pillow may give you the comfort needed to fall asleep.

The unfortunate thing is you have to transport these items so choose what is important to you and what you can manage, lightweight and smaller in size.

Shelli had a small pink fluffy throw which was on the end of her niece’s sleep-over bed at our house. There were many discussions between them as to whose blanket it was. I think she loved the homely comfort of thinking it was Lyla’s.
