Learn to slow down

Up until your diagnosis you may have been living in the fast lane, fast-paced with work, family, social events, sport etc. When told that you have cancer, you may go through a period of  thinking “this is not going to change my life. I’m going to beat this!!

You have work and meetings to go to, a social calendar, gym or kids to get to commitments. Add to that tests, scans, appointments and treatment. It’s okay to slow down. Don’t wait until that moment you crash. Pencil in some slow down time so you won’t be hit by added stress and anxiety where everything collides into one big catastrophe.

Take charge and not just do what everyone else thinks or expects you should do.
