Feeling low, find the sunlight

As the days get shorter and there is less sunlight and cooler temperatures it’s not uncommon for your mood to drop and experience the blues. The cloudy darker days and lack of daylight is enough to depress anyone, not just cancer sufferers.

Our bodies crave light. If you feeling low try getting outside as often as you can, especially on bright days.  Find a window to sit nearby can also help.  If you’re not getting enough natural light from the sun, brighten your environment by turning the lights on to make up for what isn’t coming in naturally.

Some treatments you may need to avoid sunlight so please consult your medical team for information.
