Mother’s Day 2019

Many  different types of flowers are chosen to give on Mother’s Day. Pink carnations symbolise gratitude and love while white carnations represent remembrance.

For cancer patients Mother’s Day celebrations can be extremely difficult. You all feel a range of emotions thinking about what you have been through and what may happen in the future.

Mother’s Day brings about sadness to those who have lost their loved ones. If you are a mother who has lost a daughter/son, no parent should ever be in the position to lose his/her child but sadly, so many of us have!

Memories become so important. There is no right or wrong way to feel as everyone reacts and copes in their own way. I hope you can find some joy in celebrating this special day.
