Special People, Precious Memories

Making and recording personal memories for family and friends is important especially when there is a diagnosis of secondary breast cancer and the future becomes uncertain. Create precious memories with the special people in your life. Don’t be concerned what you look like! Take photos and don’t worry about having your photo taken.

Digital printing is not as expensive now so don’t just leave those photos on your phone, iPad or computer. Get printing or make digital books!! Ask for help. You could make a simple photo album to more detailed scrapbook. Add some personal notes that can make the books even more special.

Celebrate occasions, birthdays, anniversaries, Christmas, Easter or milestones in your treatment.  These do not have to be big celebrations, just a photo blowing out the cake with family and friends creates a great memory. Most importantly it is the time spent together and this does not have to be an expensive outing or gifts. Often the patient is too sick. There are no rules to creating memories, it’s what you want to do and feel you can do.
