National Bandanna Day

Friday 25th October 2019 is National Bandanna Day, the major fundraising and awareness campaign for CanTeen Australia. Held each year on the last Friday in October, this powerful campaign has generated over $30 million to support young people affected by cancer.

CanTeen supports young people (aged 12 – 25) when cancer turns their world upside down, whether that’s their own diagnosis, or a parent or siblings. Through CanTeen, they learn to explore and deal with their feelings about cancer and connect with other young people in the same boat. If they’ve been diagnosed themselves, CanTeen also provide specialist, youth-specific treatment teams.

It’s CanTeen‘s 25th birthday this year so why not join their party. Purchase bandannas from a volunteer or order them at their website www.canteen.org.au/bandanna-day/shop/.
