After these last few hot days, remember to rehydrate and drink water. To function correctly, your body needs both water and electrolytes (such as sodium, potassium and chloride). Water helps to maintain body temperature, digest food and lubricate tissues and joints. Electrolytes, help to retain fluid, and maintain good nerve and muscle function.  Learn to recognise the signs and symptoms of dehydration. These include a sticky or dry mouth, increased thirst, fatigue, headache, decreased urine output and dark yellow urine.

To make dehydration the least of your worries during a hot spell we include Hydralyte‘s electrolyte drink tablets in our Kit for Cancer case to help with rapid rehydration. These clinically formulated tablets are designed to help relieve dehydration by quickly replenishing lost electrolytes. Hydralyte’s effervescent electrolyte tablets are convenient and portable. Each compact carrying tube contains 20 dissolvable tablets (10 servings). Just drop 2 tablets into 7 fluid ounces of water to create a clinical hydration solution.

Remember: Always read the label. Follow the directions for use. Stay alert to warning signs so you can take action immediately. If you are having problems seek medical care immediately.
