Shelli loved to journal. She had journals she created for her niece and nephew and journals with sayings, daily happenings and thoughts. A trolley sits in the corner of our study with her writings and a great read, if I need some “Shelliness.” Some writings are about her anger, frustration, disappointment, loneliness, improvements required but also many fun times and great advice, especially to Lyla and Hudson.
Your journal is a great listener and non-judgmental. Record your private thoughts, good or bad. Relieve your stress, vent your anger and let it all out in your journal. Write about what happened during the day and how your emotions coped with the stress.
Whether it is just for writing thoughts, keeping tabs on your temperature and medical state or listing questions to ask your medical team we pop a journal and stylus pen in our Kit for Cancer case to record your activities. it is just lined paper inside so you can make it into anything you want.
If you just cannot be bothered for a few days remember you can resume again at any time!
