When you are having a bad week something can happen that totally restores your faith in people. Last week at Kit this happened to us. A huge bag of ducks were donated by Kerryn Westcott, a dear friend Shelli’ met through Tour de Cure.

These ducks are precious to us, a reminder of Shelli and her duckface chemo sessions, we include them in our Kit for Cancer case to remind us to communicate and importantly they are hard to get in Australia. Those US friends don’t like shipping to us.

Kerryn is also a wonderful and caring basketball coach and uses them as Mighty Duck awards for Effort, Intensity and Attitude inspired  by Shelli. These awards would be one of Shelli’s proudest moments.

A big thank you to Kerryn.
