February is Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month

February is Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month held each year in Australia to raise awareness of the signs and symptoms of ovarian cancer, to share the stories of real women affected by the disease, to highlight the risk factors for ovarian cancer and educate Australians on ovarian cancer diagnosis and treatment.

Each day, four women will be diagnosed with ovarian cancer and three will die from the disease. The overall five-year survival rate sits at just 46%. February is #OvarianCancerAwarenessMonth – and time to change these shocking statistics #ItsTimeForOvaryAction.

Keep up to date by following the Ovarian Cancer Australia Facebook, Instagram and Twitter pages.
