Beware Seasonal affective disorder (SAD) commonly known as “Winter Blues.” Add to that the lockdowns and restrictions we have been through these dark winter days and lack of daylight are enough to depress anyone, not just cancer sufferers.
Our bodies crave light. If you feeling low try getting outside as often as you can, especially on bright days. Finding a window to sit near can also help. If you’re not getting enough natural light from the sun, brighten your environment by turning the lights on to make up for what isn’t coming in naturally.
