It is really hard to remember everything that the doctors, nurses and medical teams tell you so it is really important to keep a journal and track of all the details along the way, this might include medications, dosages, side effects, toilet stops and especially your temperature that you need to take morning and night (we have popped one in the KIT for you). If your temperature goes over 38 you need to get to the hospital. Also don’t forget to write down any questions you might have for your medical team, as you can forget them along the way. The stylus pen inside is perfect as one can use it for both the journal and any smart devices you have – very convenient![/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]DRY MOUTH – Mouthwash, Toothpaste & Soft Toothbrush:
Winning and losing treatments are in the mouth. If you can eat and drink, you can fuel your body and stay in good condition. When in treatment you should wash your mouth out four times a day and brush your teeth after every meal with a soft toothbrush because your gums get very sensitive. This will help combat mouth ulcers, thrush and sores. Looking after your mouth is a not negotiable![/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Earphones:
You might be at home or in the hospital or radiology and you just want to zone out. This is what headphones are for. Load your favourite tunes or podcasts onto your phone or music player, pop in your earphones, close their eyes and forget the world for a while. Tip: Want to be left alone? Pop your earphones in even without music, and you will find, people will give you that space you need.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]“Butt” Cream:
With the amount of medications that you take during treatment rashes, constipation and diarrhea are all part of the parcel, “Nappy rash” also is something that no one talks about but comes with the issues of the “sore behind” so there is a tube of nappy balm to help any rash or irritation along the way. TIP: Start putting the cream the day before you start treatment in places you are prone to rashes, you might find that it help prevent them coming up at all.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]
Hydration, Hydration, Hydration is so important and quite often during treatment you might go through bouts of vomiting and diarrhoea, which can cause severe dehydration. You can not ignore this. Make sure you keep your Aloe Vera Gel in the fridge and the cool gel will be an awesome relief to skin that is hot and hurts. Soft Hand Knitted Wash Cloth:
